MEETINGS & ROLES The structure of a Toastmasters meeting, with its roles and protocols, is designed to give each Toastmaster specific kinds of public speaking experience while contributing to the overall value of the meeting. Click here for a brief description of each role. Some roles provide feedback to the speakers and to the members in attendance, some help meetings move smoothly. And, of course, there are scheduled speeches as well as Table Topics (short, extemporaneous speeches) for the main speaking opportunities. Our Vice President of Education creates an assignment schedule each quarter to facilitate the scheduling of speeches and the fulfillment of roles. This list is in PDF format, so you will need Adobe Acrobat® Reader™ to open the file. You can download this free utility by clicking on the icon below. Woodridge Toastmasters meet on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. Click here for upcoming meeting dates.
